The Home Office is seeking to award grant funding to a single organisation, which can supply and install protective security measures (e.g. CCTV, cameras, locks, fencing) to Places of Worship (“POW”) with evidence of vulnerability to hate crime in England and Wales.
The scope of the services to be completed by the successful organisation includes (although may not be limited to):
1. Grant management including setting up and managing the POW application process, on-site assessments in collaboration with Home Office security experts, providing support to POW applicants and completing initial sifting of the applications to ensure POW’s meet the basic scheme eligibility criteria.
2. Supply and installation of the security equipment.
