The Hampshire County Council Public Health team are preparing to procure a Public Health Nursing Services This service will include Health Visiting and School Nursing Services for Children, Young People (0-19 Years) and their families. With the service aiming to start from August 2020.
Public Health nursing consists of health visiting and school nursing services which historically have been commissioned through two separate specifications and two separate contracts. From 1st August 2020, these services will combine into a single 0-19 Public Health Nursing Service, (the Service) with no division between services for 0-4 and 5-19-year olds. To support the shift in delivery and break away from previously held expectations, we envisage a rebranding and relaunch of the service. We expect the provider to enable this differentiation through any branding and communications. This will provide an opportunity for the transformation of 0-19 services, which will improve outcomes and maximise use of resources for all children and young people and their families.
