If you need longer-term help with managing your bids, we offer an ongoing Bid Management service. If you take up this service, you will become one of our valued ‘Client Partners’ and as part of this, we will regularly identify potential tender opportunities, pre-qualify them and present them to you, all free of charge. The more we work with you, the more intelligence we build and so the tenders we identify become ever more suitable and the number of contracts we win becomes even greater. Although this is an ongoing service, there is no tie in or ongoing fee – we only charge for each job we do for you.
Step 1 – Tender Readiness Check: Once you have signed up to our services, we will ensure that all required policies and governance requirements are in place to allow you to bid for relevant public contracts. Where gaps are identified, we will develop a roadmap for completion. The cost of our Tender Readiness Check is nominal, at £550+VAT (this will be discounted against your first Winning Tenders bid submission).
Step 2 – Finding the right Tenders: Once you are ready to bid, we will focus on finding you the right opportunities to bid for. We only uncover ideal, high-frequency, high value opportunities that will provide a good likelihood of success. This may also involve identifying and pursuing suitable Framework Agreements or Dynamic Purchasing Systems (DPS) – these are usually large multiyear, multi supplier agreements which will offer valuable business opportunities through a simpler bid process. They also provide credibility and show buying organisations that you are accredited within the public sector.
Step 3 – Working on the Bid: Once a suitable bid is identified, we will provide you with a fixed fee quote to deliver the work. Once this is accepted, we will allocate a dedicated bid resource team. As a minimum, each bid team consists of 3 x expert bid writers. One of our experienced bid writers writes the bid and, following APMP best practice methodology, another bid writer undertakes a Red Review of the same bid. Their main remit is to challenge the approach taken by the first bid writer and then review the bid as an evaluator would. Following on from this, a third writer is assigned the Quality Assurance role to ensure the entire bid comes together before submission5
As part of our Bid Management service, we maintain a tailored bid library for you. The longer-term objective is that your only involvement will be at the review and ‘sign-off’ stage before we submit the bid, allowing you and your team to concentrate on other aspects of your business.
Our Tender Readiness Check; our quest to find exactly the right tenders for our clients; the expertise of our bid writers and our 3-stage bid review process all ensure that Winning Tenders maintains an impressive win rate. By signing up to our Bid Management service, you will receive a fully tailored service to ensure that all your individual needs are met and exceeded.
