MD’s Bid Review Service
If you write your own bids, our Managing Director’s Bid Review service will work as an additional assurance that you are writing a bid response that is going to score well under evaluation.
Our Managing Director, Philip Norman, used to work on the other side of the fence for public sector organisations, setting up tenders and then marking and evaluating bid responses, and therefore knows exactly how public sector bids are scored. He will personally undertake a strategic bid review and evaluation of your bid prior to the deadline, providing recommendations for strengthening your response or assurances that your response will score well.
Our Bid Review Process
Due to time restrictions, we can only offer a limited number of these bid reviews each month, on a first come first served basis. If you are interested in the MD’s Bid Review service for a bid which you are working on or have coming up, please get in touch as soon as you can so that we can ensure Philip’s availability.
We will ask you to send us your draft bid by a certain date (giving you enough time to take onboard the recommendations before the deadline). Once received, Philip will review your draft response, highlighting areas that need improvement, with tangible suggestions as to how changes can be made where relevant. You will be provided with strategic recommendations, readability improvements and structural enhancements to ensure the buying organisation will positively evaluate the bid.
In some cases, where practical to do so, your response will be evaluated just as the public body will evaluate it, providing indicative scores for all individual questions, plus an overall score. The “dress rehearsal” evaluation will be matched against the public body’s evaluation methodology, criteria and weightings to ensure that it is as accurate as possible.
